Bonjour à tous! Available for tutoring in French language and culture. My experience includes full immersion courses throughout high school and college and I have a BA with a double major in French and Cultural Anthropology. I studied abroad during my junior year (2 semesters) in Bordeaux, France at the Université de Bordeaux (2012-2013). These courses were full immersion and covered a variety of subject matter including French Language and Culture, Writing, Oral Dictation, Political Science, Anthropology, and Art History. I am enthusiastic about working with students at all levels of learning, from beginner to advanced. My sessions will address an individual student’s needs and concerns. These can include and are not limited to improving grammatical and oral speaking skills, preparing for SAT Subject and AP exams, practicing informal and formal conversational French, and discussing the cultures of France and Francophone nations. I am also available to help tutor in writing and grammar as well as archaeology, anthropology, ancient and modern history, and art history. Sessions could include preparing for exams and quizzes, formulating essay topics and creating outlines, and going over papers to improve grammar, sentence structure, and paper organization.
